The Vietnamese culture was the highlight of a gala dinner held by the France-Vietnam Friendship Association (Le Liseron) in Carrieres Sous-Poissy city on Novbber 15 on the occasion of the association’s 15 th founding anniversary.

(VOV) -The US news cable CNN has arrived in Vietnam to produce a reportage on traditional Vietnamese martial art (Vovinam).

The CNN crew interviewed Vice President of World Vovinam Federation (WVVF) and International Technical Director for the WVVF, Master Nguyen Van Chieu who travelled to 20 countries across the world to teach and popularise the Vietnamese martial art.

(VOV) -More than 500 athletes gathered on Novbber 7 in the capital city of Alger for the second edition of the Ambassador’s Cup, a traditional Vietnamese martial art (Vovinam) tournament to celebrate the establishment of diplomatic ties.

Thirty martial artists represented Vietnam to compete in 24 disciplines.

NDO – Vietnamese martial artists were successful in defending their title at the 2014 Southeast Asian Vovinam Championships in Myanmar, winning a total of nine gold, 13 silver and two bronze medals.
